Alternative Energy Projects All Around the World

In Altai, a remote region of Southern Siberia bordering China, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan, a 28-year-old energy-sector engineer named Andrey Yalbakov is installing small-scale solar electric power systems for local communities in search of clean alternative energy supply. Andrey is an emergent social entrepreneur and as the Alternative Energy Project Manager for Sustainable Development of Altai (FSDA) he and his team travel to villages high in the Golden Mountains, along the wild Katun River, and over the Ukok Plateau, to offer communities a greener, more sustainable future.
